What is Learning Beyond?
Learning Beyond a creative, informal learning conference. It is an initiative aiming to create a learner driven platform to inspire innovation in learning based on best practices.
The platform will allow learners to come together to exchange knowledge and resources.

What are the topics of the conference?
All offerings fall under two main topics; learning environments, and life-long learning

No all ticket sales are nonrefundable and nontransferable
What will be required from me to purchase the ticket?
Upon ticket purchase you will need to fill the registration form.
What is the registration period for?
The registration period is a designated time prior to the opening ceremony, for all participants to collect their physical conference passes. It is also a good time for the participant to plan their agenda.
When is the registration period?
Friday September 10, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
When does it start/end?
Start: Friday, September 10: 1:00 pm – 10:00pm
End: Saturday, September 11: 9:00 am – 10:00pm

Who are the confirmed speakers/facilitators of the event?
There are international, regional, and local speakers. You can view the list of speakers in the PDF under program details.
Who is the targeted audience?
We are targeting educators, content developers, parents, and learners in general.
How many participants are we expecting?
800-1000 participants.
What are the offerings?
Workshops, sessions, book signing, meet the expert, talks, panel discussions, learning experiences, and networking sessions.
Does the conference pass include all offerings?
Conference pass include all offering except for workshops, and facilitated lunches which require separate tickets.
What is a session?
A presentation by one or more individuals around a selected topic that will include round table discussions, demonstrations, exercises, etc. The duration of the entire session is 90 minutes.
What is a workshop?
A structure-based program focusing on a topic or a theme with measurable objectives that might involve creation of tangible product. It either sparks interest in a new selected topic or supports existing content. The duration of all workshops will be around 2-3 hours.
What is a panel discussion?
A number of experts meet and participate in a moderated structured discussion around a selected topic or theme. The duration of the entire discussion will be approximately 90 minutes.
What is a book signing?
The author will read or speak about their book and then proceed to a signing session.
What is a Meet the Expert session?
Facilitated discussion by an expert in the field around a selected topic.
Will the book signing sessions offer an option to buy the book?
You will have the option to purchase the book during the session, or you can bring your own copy to sign.
Is there more than one session happening during each period?
Each period includes concurrent events, workshops, talks, panel discussions, meet the expert sessions, book signings and experiences.
How can I choose which offering to attend?
You will be able to plan your agenda upon registration. Several stations will be available during the registration period to assist you in planning your agenda.
