Hind Alghamdi

Hind Alghamdi was born and raised in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and currently works as a museum educator at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) in Dhahran. After earning her bachelor’s at King Faisal University, she interned with various cultural and creative initiatives in the region and discovered a life-long passion for the arts, specifically the practice of traditional and contemporary Arabic calligraphy. Consequently, she went on to found Ha’a in Dammam, a studio that offers calligraphy workshops and develops artistic products. Her artwork has been featured in multiple exhibitions throughout the Gulf region, most recently in an exhibition at the celebrated Athr Gallery in Jiddah. Alghamdi has been described as an artist, researcher and explorer.
