Course brief:

This course is for anyone who wants to be an entrepreneur, come up with their own project, and lead their own initiative in any of the areas in the creative and cultural sector, such as writing, filmmaking, and creating content for podcasts, visual arts and photography, and other fields in art and creativity.
During three days of enriching discussions and effective trainings, participants interested in planning and developing businesses that adopt artistic ideas of differing outlooks will be able to create creative models from start to endorsement. This course will help trainees draft their own project statement, vision, mission, and annual goals; thus, putting together a more organized and methodical project outline.

Objectives:

  • Define their perspective in terms of personal and creative spirit, and come up with a draft of their vision, mission, and prospects for effective use later on.
  • Identify and summarize key components of leading-edge entrepreneurship in the creative sector.
  • Identify the four roles of creative entrepreneurship and explaining them with solid analogies and live discussions.
  • The effective use of integral tools, defining their scope and importance with regards to creative entrepreneurship. 

Those enrolled in the course will be able to:

  • Define success metrics.
  • Write project proposals; their vision and mission.
  • Identify the top three annual goals for their business.
  • Draft a list of achievable objectives for the coming year.

Beth Barany is the founder of the Barany School of Fiction. A full suite of courses designed to help genre fiction writers experience clarity and get writing, so they can revise and proudly publish their novels to the delight of their readers. She has a Master NLP Practitioner and certified creativity coach for writers. She has been presented at Ithra Center (King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, the Women’s Fiction Festival in Matera, Italy, the Romance Writers of America National Conference, Washington, D.C., the Emerald City Conference in Seattle, Washington, the San Francisco Writers Conference, and the San Francisco Bay Area chapters of SCBWI, CWC, and RWA.
