Bahraini architect Sara Abdulla holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a master’s in commercial and construction project management from the University of Manchester. After working in private architectural practices and the real estate development sector, she cofounded Dust for Experience Design, a multidisciplinary design studio specializing in injecting soul into spaces, concepts and brands through experience and spatial design. Abdulla is the Bahrain representative for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Gulf Chapter. She actively engages in promoting architecture as an inclusive discipline, through creating collaborative spaces, reviving historic and cultural buildings, and designing experiences, workshops and events.
Abdulla is also the cofounder of homegrown stationery brand Qirtas Shop, and Development Manager at AlMawred Education, a higher education consultancy based in Bahrain. Through design, architecture, business and education, she strives to take a multidisciplinary approach to all her projects.
