"Lights, Camera, Action! Creating a School News Program

This session will focus on how to form a student news program. We will share our story of using student input to create a revamped news production. We’ll also help participants discover how they might apply a similar program at their school.  We will share the theory for why a student news program is good for students and go through the production process with the participants as the featured writers and performers.  The session will provide options for building a similar program given limitations on equipment and suggest workarounds.
