From macro to micro, Ithra’s annual creativity conference, Tanween, takes us on a journey across the concept of “scale” to explore its applications in architecture, graphic design, fashion, and various fields of design, to find creative means and solutions to contemporary problems and issues.
 

Retal Designathon 
Sponsored by Retal Al Khair for Community Service, and in cooperation with the Al Khobar Municipality, the Retal Designathon takes off with two events that combine creativity with design and technology: the Designathon for developing the King Salman Bridge in al-Khobar and the Hackathon for designing the Future Park in the Ewan Tharwa neighborhood of Retal.

Majd Winter Event and Majd Terrace Environmental Architecture Expo 2023

The Majd Winter Event in Jubail and the Majd Terrace Environmental Architecture Expo 2023 in al-Khobar are designed to showcase the latest innovations and technologies in the field of environmentally conscious architecture and the future of sustainable construction in the Kingdom, through a unique exhibition that features abstract art, photography, multimedia works and installations.
 

Awan Nights

Awan Nights celebrates the Creativity Market, a lively area with various creative activities. It provides a free space for young people and talented painters and craftsmen. It also contains an entertainment area, an area dedicated to children, as well as workshops, live bands and a food hall.

The Stage offers interactive and knowledge-oriented gatherings in creative and cultural fields such as creative content making, art, music, storytelling, and literature, to stimulate innovation and creativity, and build bridges of communication between innovators.

The company contributes to a number of sporting events and activities, including padel, bowling, and a Taekwondo martial arts show, in addition to creative artistic activities such as mural painting by professional artists, musical training workshops and live drawing on carpets.

Community Painting Event: Trucks on Tour

Alkifah Company is offering a community activity in which members of the public can join professional artists in decorating several cement trucks with paintings inspired by the heritage and culture of the Kingdom. The trucks will then tour the Eastern Province so the public can enjoy the new artistic creations. 

Rawabi Future Skills Bootcamp

The bootcamp makes it easier for students preparing to attend university to discover their career prospects by providing them with cognitive tools that help them understand themselves and discover their abilities. The goal is to enable them to chart their professional careers within the best available options.
 

Interactive activities in the theater - archery - football skill training

Al Qadsia Sports Club holds a number of arts and sports events and activities that enrich the culture of creativity, including interactive theatrical programs, a program to develop the ancient sport of archery and professional football training for all age groups.
 

Sports Marathon

In an interactive, competitive atmosphere, Al Fateh Sports Club offers this marathon with three fun activities: bike riding, walking, and athletics. The activities are for both genders and different age groups, including sporting events, activities and entertainment programs.
 

The university promotes a culture of creativity among its students through several activities, including an event to improve visual pollution in the region through the plastic arts, a university podcast initiative, and student club participation – such as an experiment in cooking creative dishes hosted by the Culinary Club.

The university enriches its students with a number of workshops, dialogue sessions, and interactive activities, such as a Sudoku decision-making competition, a poetry operetta entitled The Return of Tarfa Bin Al Abd, a tourist journey called “A Trip in al-Hasa,” and the second KAFU Gets Creative exhibition.

In partnership with the General Directorate of Education and the Eastern Province Municipality

The Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility launched the "Absir" initiative in cooperation with the General Administration of Education with the support of the Eastern Province Municipality, in conjunction with the Eastern Province Innovation 2023 initiative. The initiative aims to improve the urban landscape in the city of Dammam in the Eastern Province, targeting a number of parks and areas through drawings and decorations that carry the identity of the Eastern Province.

This is an extension of what was launched in 2022 by the same partners and in conjunction with the Eastern Province, it also innovates, as it sought to improve the school environment, which included more than 100 schools for boys and girls throughout the Eastern Province, by supporting and enabling attractive fine art forms to enhance the health and quality of life for students to encourage walking by taking advantage of the drawings and decorations that carry the identity of the Eastern Province.
