Zeina Joueidi, a business student turned artist, was attracted to natural patterns & earthy materials since childhood. She was born in 1991 in Pakistan and received her degree Bachelors of Fine Art, majors Ceramics with a specialization in Islamic Art in 2013. She is also trained to develop Traditional and Modern geometric designs, and known for her Ceramic installations exhibited at Maraya Art Center, Istanbul Design Week, Expo Milan, Dutch Design Week and more. She also was nominated amongst the World’s Top 20 designers for Baraboux Paris at Design Days Dubai 2015. She had also received trainings from Ceramic factories in Spain and Portugal for modern ceramics and glazing techniques. Her approach for design had always been open to all fields of art and architecture. Mahwish’s passion for art and design did not end here and her career had been a parallel as an exhibiting artist, art educator, business manager cum designer and setting up a ceramics business of her own.
