Mohammed Alnaas is a Libyan writer, freelance journalist and author who is interested in alternative Libyan stories. He writes about gender roles, freedom of speech, social norms, cinema and other marginalized aspects of life in Libya. Mohammed Alnaas is the first Libyan and the youngest author to win the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, for his debut novel Bread on Uncle Milad's Table.
