Mohammed Al-Abbas is a Saudi writer and critic who monitors the Arab creative movement as well as the literary, cultural and social developments in the Kingdom.

He has published many books, including: Our Poetic Prose: Interpretations of the Poetic Awakening, A Pilgrimage to the Self, and The Antithesis of Memory: Poetics of Prose Poetry and the Essentialist Narrative of the World.
