Dr. Mohammed Qasem is an assistant professor in electronic engineering. He previously worked as a teacher of electronic engineering at the Electronic Engineering Department, College of Technological Studies at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training. He specializes in artificial neural networks and deep learning, with expertise in optimization and data compression. He currently works as a consultant for the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement of Sciences (KFAS). He was selected by Nature Middle East as one of six science communicators working to simplify science to society, by presenting science as programs on television, in the Sciware podcast, through public lectures he gives in Kuwait and the Gulf, or through social networks. He has millions of science-loving followers on various media platforms.
