2022 – Present: Chair of the Drawing & Arts Department, College of Art & Design at the University of Jeddah.

2015: Interdisciplinary Ph.D. degree (Art, Philosophy, Theater, and Music) in Visual & Performing Arts (Valedictorian of her class).

2015: Certificate in Women’s Studies from TTU.

2006: Master’s degree in Islamic Arts Education from King Abdul-Aziz University, (awarded the highest GPA of KAU Graduate School)

2004: appointed to be a Teacher Assistant at KAU.

1999: Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Arts Education from King Abdul-Aziz University (Valedictorian of her class)

Research interests: Women’s image in orientalist art; Intellectual Property Laws; Iconography Iconology and Semiotics and their significant role in art criticism; Theatre arts and drama production.
