Annick Collins

Annick Collins

Annick is an artist and designer who is interested in narrative and interactive spaces, play and participation and the urban realm. She is interested in how the audience can be involved or identify with the piece or experience, and how to create cross generational playful spaces that make people smile and create a sense of place. She often works with the space and context to draw out the heritage, nature or stories of the local area or audiences. Recently Annick has shown work at Nest in Bahrain and been working on a series of abstract drawings that are inspired by architectural forms, the interaction of the lines and ideas around exploring.
After finishing her MA in Industrial Design Engineering, a joint course between Royal College of Art and Imperial College London, Annick has gained experience in the fields design, art, public realm and higher education within London. Within higher education she has worked at UAL, Imperial College and RCA to engage students in creative practice.
