Course Description:
This course will enrich new comers in the movie industry, visual artists, producers, and filmmakers. During which the participants will understand the concept of cinematography with a focus on light language allowing them, in turn, to plan out and control lighting and become effective, successful creators in this fascinating field.
Course objectives:
- Grasping the concept of cinematography (light language).
- Practicing and preparing to be lighting experts.
Course outcomes:
- Participants will be able to understand the light language in various movie scenes.
- Participants will be able to master planning the lights in the making of motion pictures.

Waleed Aljaber
Waleed Aljaber is a talented director. Over the course of 20 years, he has built an impressive resume in the movie industry. He produced and directed many successful advertising campaigns. He was the writer and director of a documentary titled “Kiswah Alkaaba”. Aljaber also contributed to the “Visit Saudi” campaign that aim to promote tourism in the Kingdom.
Waleed directed many national-day advertisement, one of which was for Ithra. In 2021, he participated in many contests as part of a jury, and with his love for cinematography, he has a significant repertoire of sharing his passion with others through leading enriching courses and workshops.
