Abdullah Al Almai is a visual artist whose paintings have won a number of awards in the Kingdom and have been exhibited in various exhibitions and galleries throughout Saudi Arabia. Al Almai received the Abha Award twice in 2003 and 2004 and awards in the Janadriyah Festival for five consecutive years from 2001 until 2005. His paintings are characterized by their vibrant colors and energetic compositions through which he embodies the diversity of Saudi heritage and the ecology of the Kingdom.
