Culture+Design

Culture+Design is a workshop focusing on the importance of design as a tool for achieving cultural sustainability. This workshop explores how contemporary clothing and products can be conduits of culture if approached in an ethical way. Illustrated through example and discussion, the workshop will highlight ways in which culture has been incorporated into the design process, and the idea of respecting culture and traditions will underpin each participant’s development of a single work.
