Digital Educational Environment and Cybersecurity  

We are living now in the age of the technological revolution, where information is available at the push of a button, whether smartphone, tablets, computers or other technology. We must impart religious, cultural, and historical values and national principles to the young generation in the new context. It is vital to spread awareness on the importance of cybersecurity and its relation with digital media, especially now that it is part of the learning process. We all have seen in the past year how important digital learning has become, and it is clear for us as academics how important it is to spread awareness about digital learning to students, how to use the programs, and how protect themselves and their devices from hacking.

The technical learning environment encourages basic technical habits like how to use the device, the program, antivirus software, engaging appropriately, and the mechanisms on how to use learning websites and reliable social media platform. Ideas and suggestions will be discussed as well to reflect the image of Saudi citizens through learning platforms locally and internationally as well as official social media accounts, hashtags and digital media.
We will look at how to contribute as well how to change negative stereotypes about Saudi society, and to highlight Saudi scientists and researchers in the 21st century. The session will be flexible and open where we will discuss facts and opinions transparently. The audience will leave fully aware of the importance of digital learning and how to use their accounts and hobbies properly in cyberspace.

- How cybersecurity is important in digital learning.
- How to apply information security.
