Akram Almatar and the Bahrain Music Band

Akram Al Matar will be performing songs from the Gulf region including his own. He will be accompanied by 32 musicians and chorus members from the Bahrain Music Band conducted by maestro, Khalifa Zaman.

Singer Akram Matar began his career as a musician in 2012, and he is famous for his choice of singing in classical Arabic. Khalifa Zaman was awarded the Proficiency Medal by His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifah. Zaman joined the Higher Institute of Musical Arts in 1980, and has performed several musical and national shows in cooperation with remarkable Gulf musicians. The Bahrain Music Band was formed in 1997.
