Issey Miyake based this work on the fundamental principle called ‘A Piece Of Cloth’. The principle explores the larger relationship between the body and the cloth that shields it, and the distance between them. In the Fashion Engineering workshop, we will discuss the manufacturing process and its different applications that go beyond the fashion world. We will also exhibit a collection of unconventional materials used in textile manufacturing, and the influence of societies on identity of fashion.
