Architects of Air

Brief

In "Architect of Air" Learn how to create inflatable structures and lightweight architecture through hands-on prototyping. Participants will explore the link between inflatable art, engineering, architecture and space, exploration to answer the question 'what would play look like on another planet?’ The workshop concludes with a display of the large scale inflatable prototypes created by participants. The workshop uses the Luminarium - Architects of Air exhibit during this year’s Tanween as a case study and inspiration of what is possible with inflatable architecture. The workshop is facilitated by Eric Schriefer and Marcel Bello of Delft University of Technology's engineering department rated as one of top best three departments worldwide.
