DHAHRAN, SAUDI ARABIA, October 16, 2023 -  Ithra’s Creative Solutions Residency Program (CSRP)  has propelled 11 ground-breaking immersive technology prototypes designed by emerging Saudi creatives one step closer to reality following a weeklong bootcamp hosted in Manchester and London, UK, in partnership with IN4 Group, a leading innovation and digital skills provider.

Under the banner of "Revolutionizing Realities," the 40 CSRP finalists were put through the paces by industry experts in a bootcamp that served as an incubator for cutting-edge ideas rooted in immersive reality and augmented reality technology. The winning prototypes, which respond to vital global issues such as climate change, environment preservation and historical preservation, showcase the immense potential of Saudi advancement in immersive technologies.

Among the standout projects was "Revive" by Fatima Al-Dubaisi, a captivating narrative immersing users in a world of ecological struggle, mirroring our own. Another pioneering endeavor, "Bougainvillea," delved into the fusion of virtual reality and cultural heritage, weaving a rich tapestry of tradition and innovation. An auditory marvel, the "Audioaura" project, unveiled the secrets of sound through immersive audio, resurrecting history in ways previously unimaginable.

"The CSRP bootcamp was more than just a training ground; it was a global stage where our local talents showcased their brilliance. We are not just nurturing innovators; we are fostering pioneers who will redefine the immersive tech landscape," said Mizna Al-Zamil, Head of Creativity and Innovation at Ithra.

Mo Isap, CEO of IN4 Group, echoed this sentiment: "Our collaboration with Ithra signifies a commitment to shaping the future. The Creative Solutions cohort now joins our international startup community, where boundaries blur, and innovation knows no borders."
