International Volunteer Day
Is a global occasion to promote and spread the culture of volunteering in the world, support the efforts of volunteers and highlight their effective role in society to achieve sustainable development goals. Out of our belief that youth are the mainstay of the nation’s future, we seek, through the Ithra Volunteerism event, to raise awareness among our youth of the importance of volunteering and how volunteering can play a huge role in shaping their future, and demonstrate its great benefits to the individual and society, in addition to highlighting the types of volunteer work and the basic skills that the volunteer needs by establishing a package of programs accompanying the event in order to enhance their active role in society.
Ithra Volunteerism Forum
Ithra Volunteerism forum seeks to enthuse youth and inspire volunteerism among the audience, as it discusses experiences and stories of inspirational people who have a mark in voluntary work and youth development. In addition, to share success stories and methods of how volunteerism can develop success, the forum aims to inspire and motivate youth to participate enthusiastically in volunteering.
We are the Future
"We are the Future" is a campaign that highlights the Youth playing a huge role in shaping the future. The forum will distinguish the volunteer’s importance for the future and allow them to be more aware of their role and their limitless capabilities by hosting international and national speakers to inspire the audience to thrive and succeed.
The Forum will be held at the Ithra Theater.
