International Volunteer Day
is a global event to promote and spread the culture of volunteerism in the world and support the efforts of volunteers and strengthen their effective efforts in the community to achieve sustainable development goals. We seek to raise awareness amongst our youth about the importance of volunteering and to demonstrate its enormous benefits to the individual and society.

"I am a volunteer" is a campaign that highlights volunteers’ work and what they achieve for their communities and countries. Their images are shown and their stories told as part of the celebration of The International Volunteerism Day to educate and inspire people to become volunteers and by recognizing them each year.

Abdulrahman Bu-Hamid: an administrative clerk. Volunteering at Ithra brings me happiness with every smile I see on the face of an elderly man and every wave a child gives me. Volunteering is makes me happy with life. Volunteering has given me an international license for voluntary work. I have also participated in the launch of the Saudi Volunteering Award. I believe that my personal development and the essence of my success in life is due to my time spent volunteering.
Ithra Volunteerism Boot Camp
Ithra Volunteerism Boot Camp is a program which takes promising individuals on a transformative journey. This will strengthen their professional development and lay the foundations for soft skills and abilities through an extensive training program. This program will educate candidates to strive for academic excellence and have a sense of responsibility, high ethical standards and team spirit to understand the core values and principles that make up the foundation of volunteerism.
Ithra Volunteerism Boot Camp program aims to prepare potential volunteers to improve their skillset to match the capabilities required in the field of volunteerism.
This will be accomplished through theory-based education and building on practical training that candidates receive so as to serve the community.
The program consists of four days of training and a final project or on the job training.

Ithra Volunteerism Forum
The Ithra Volunteerism forum seeks to enthuse young people and inspire volunteerism among the audience, as it discusses experiences and stories from inspirational people who have left a mark in voluntary work and youth development. In addition to sharing success stories and methods to use volunteerism as a way to success, the forum aims to inspire and motivate youth to participate enthusiastically in volunteering.
Giving and Enrichment Forum enhances the concept of volunteerism through many experiences of the most giving individuals in addition to the obstacles and difficulties that they have gone through during their amazing journey. The forum aims to inspire and motivate individuals to participate vigorously in volunteerism and to understand the different categories and the motives behind it.
The Forum will be mastered at the Ithra Theater.
