Ali Alsomain

Ali Alsomain is a prominent Saudi director, writer and producer with a bachelor's degree in architecture from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He began his career at MBC Group in 2006 as a broadcast designer and director, working on feature-length documentaries addressing significant social issues, such as Sooner or Later and The Pursuit of Happiness, which earned several awards.

Alsomain participated in the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where he praised Saudi Arabia's involvement through a dedicated pavilion. Known for his works that reflect Saudi culture and address important societal issues, Alsomain has garnered wide recognition in both local and international artistic circles. He continues to work on film projects that aim to spotlight Saudi stories and elevate their presence on the global stage.
