Ithra Palm Initiative is a strategic cultural initiative by (King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) that uses the date palm as a platform for contemporary design, material innovation, and international cultural collaboration.

The initiative collaborates with leading local and international designers including Cristian Mohaded (Argentina), Nada Debs (Lebanon/UK), and Shahad Azzaz (Saudi Arabia), among others.

Ithra Palm Initiative is based at Ithra in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, with international activations at major design and cultural platforms including the London Design Festival, Doha Design Biennale, and others.

This cycle focuses on outreach and international positioning rather than a physical exhibition at Ithra. The initiative is present through commissions, showcases, residencies, and publications.
