The Children's Book Fair in its sixth edition, which will be held at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), aims to encourage a love of reading among children in a cultural environment that enhances the presence of books in society, by hosting distinguished publishing houses specializing in children and adolescents. The fair targets children aged 4-14 years. The fair also features an invited guest country of honor and is accompanied by a series of programs and specialized activities suitable for children, in addition to a package of programs and meetings that include a selection of specialists in children's literature.

The book fair is distinguished by its careful selection of children’s books and all that relates to their learning and development, with books available in both Arabic and English.
Children are very important to the library and make up a large portion of its visitors. The book fair gives both parents and children an opportunity to come together and create a healthy environment that encourages to choose enriching books that will enhance their love for reading and desire for knowledge.

The publishing houses were selected according to the criteria of King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), which were also used in selecting the books. We will also expand opportunities for publishing houses according to the criteria listed on the registration page.
This book fair will feature 20 publishing houses from Saudi, the GCC, the Arab World, in addition to a guest country.

The featured book titles are new and carefully selected. There will also be a book exchange station to allow children to swap books they have finished reading.
The books available for sale are the ones listed in the Children’s Book Fair, while the library’s books are available for borrowing by Ithra Membership card holders.
The books shown at the book fair will be available at the same price for all visitors.
