Campers will learn about the history, techniques, and customs of crafting from all around the world as they embark on an exciting journey where imagination and culture collide. 
Along their creative voyage, they will discover how crafters of diverse cultures use simple materials to create spectacular masterpieces. They will also uncover the stories behind these techniques, gaining insight into the beauty and craftsmanship that stems from local resources and heritage.

 

Educational Goals: 

  • Foster an understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural traditions and artistic practices through hands-on activities.
  • Develop practical artistic and crafting skills by engaging in activities such as wheel throwing, wood crafting and Kintsugi, enhancing creativity and fine motor skills.
  • Bridge traditional art forms with contemporary practices to show the evolution of art and inspire creative thinking.
