The Giving Reflection

At the Giving Reflection program, children embark on a personal journey of self-discovery by exploring their emotions around giving. Through a creative hands-on activity, they reflect on the different forms of giving, whether to themselves, loved ones or those in need and how these acts make them feel. Using various cutout shapes of facial features in different colors, children choose and assemble pieces to create a unique portrait that represents their feelings towards giving. The chosen colors and shapes symbolize their emotions and perceptions, encouraging deeper emotional reflection and self-expression.
At the end of the activity, children walk away with a personalized Giving Portrait, a powerful reminder that giving is not just about what we offer to others, but also about understanding ourselves and the emotions tied to generosity.
