Course description:

In this extensive course, anyone interested in the art of Arabic calligraphy is welcomed to be exposed to the art of copying Quranic scripture. Moreover, participants will learn to differentiate between artistic copying and that of Quranic script by studying the rules of writing the Quran by using the Naskh font. By the end of this course, participants will be able to write the Holy Quran by following the groundlines that adhere to the principles of this art.

Course objectives:

• Learning the principles of copying the Quran.
• Acquiring the principles of writing the Quran using the Naskh font.
• Understanding the nunation (Tashkeel) of the Holy Quran.
• Obtaining knowledge regarding about line system and structure in writing the Holy Quran in the Naskh font
