Diaa Youssef

Diaa Youssef is a Saudi artist, writer, and independent film director born in 1979. With extensive experience in contemporary arts and filmmaking, she has excelled in video art, design, and photography. She is the author of "In the Beginning Was the Idea: Reflections on Contemporary Art" and was the editor-in-chief of Sedra, an online magazine for contemporary art. Specializing in scriptwriting, Diaa has won several awards, including the Saudi Film Days award and the Enjaz award at the Dubai International Film Festival.

 

Throughout her career, she has held prominent roles in creative content management, public relations, and jury panels for cultural competitions. She contributed to organizing major events and wrote scripts for notable dramas such as Tash Ma Tash and Abu Al-Malayeen. Currently, she serves as the Creative Content Manager while continuing to enrich the Saudi cultural and artistic landscape.
