Abduljalil Al-Nasser

Born in Dammam, Abduljalil Al-Nasser is a self-taught filmmaker who started making experimental films while studying Computer Science at the University of Manchester in the UK. As Saudi Arabia doesn’t have film schools and cinema theaters were banned in the country until 2018, Abduljalil started his career after graduation by making commercials, short films and documentaries. Fifty Thousand Photographs screenplay was one of the winners in the Saudi Film Days competition organized by King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).
