Diaa Youssef is a Saudi artist, writer and independent film director. With extensive experience in contemporary arts and filmmaking, she has excelled in video art, design and photography. She is the author of In the Beginning Was the Idea: Reflections on Contemporary Art and was the editor-in-chief of Sedra, an online magazine for contemporary art. Specializing in scriptwriting, Diaa has won several awards, including the Saudi Film Days award and the Enjaz award at the Dubai International Film Festival.

 

Throughout her career, she has held prominent roles in creative content management, public relations and jury panels for cultural competitions. She contributed to organizing major events and wrote scripts for notable dramas such as Tash Ma Tash and Abu Al-Malayeen. Currently, she serves as a creative content manager while continuing to enrich the Saudi cultural and artistic landscape.
