In conjunction with Tanween, Ithra’s Creativity Season, the Alsharqiya Gets Creative initiative celebrates creativity throughout the Kingdom’s Eastern Province as we strive to be the capital of creativity in the Kingdom.
During the 2021 initiative, more than 200 local businesses and entities showcased the innovative culture of the Eastern Province by presenting creative ideas, initiatives and products.

The Most prominent Creative Participations
Ithra's Tanween Creativity Season is the largest creative platform in Saudi Arabia. Tanween connects creators and innovators with global experts in various fields to expand ideas, increase opportunities, and enhance creativity within an inspirational environment. Last years Tanween’s Crafting Creativity offered 4 experiments, 7 workshops, 10 masterclasses and 30 speakers.
Alsharqiyah Gets Creative Talks
Alturki contributed with a range of activities that included talk sessions covering a number of intriguing topics, such as sports, entrepreneurship, technology, reading clubs, and youth innovations.
Youth for Tomorrow
Youth for Tomorrow offered interactive sports and entertainment events, including awareness and art activities, along with various competitions for the public.
The Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility offered artistic activities to help renovate the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in collaboration with several artists in the Eastern Province.
Al Dammam Arts Get Creative
The Al Dammam Arts Gets Creative association provided a variety of activities, including theater and improvisational performances, in addition to an art exhibition and musical workshops for beginners.

Retal Urban Development Company offered a diversified entertainment program that included a group of inspiring events and initiatives.
Ajdan Development Company contributed with a collection of artistic events and workshops in cooperation with a group of creative artists in the fields of plastic art, photography, calligraphy, sculpture and handicrafts, in addition to musical performance at the Al Rames Cultural Center.

The Saudi Press Agency, the official media partner for Alsharqiya Gets Creative, aligned with Alsharqiya Gets Creative strategy and goals and distributed the content of the initiative through various media platforms.
Ministry of Education
The Ministry of Education collaborated by having more than 150 teachers promote the concept of creativity. The ministry nominated the teachers as creativity ambassadors in their respected schools to spread creativity awareness among the students.
Ministry of Sports Branch at Eastern Province
The Ministry of Sports organized interactive sports and entertainment events, including awareness and art activities, and various competitions for the public, such as Youth for tomorrow, Sports for All and Beach Service.
Al-Nawras Garden for Arts
The Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility launched Al-Nawras Garden, a governmental tributary, as part of Alsharqiya Gets Creative.
The Garden was created to support social responsibility practices by protecting the environment, promoting arts and humanizing cities.

The Eastern Province Council contributed with artistic activities that sought to renovate Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium, in cooperation with several artists in the Eastern Province.

The Eastern Region Municipality guided the municipality entities to participate in Alsharqiya Gets Creative to promote the concept of creativity, as well as the initiative itself, throughout the region.

Ajdan Development Company offered a collection of various artistic activities and workshops called Takween in cooperation with a group of creative artists in the fields of plastic art, photography, calligraphy, sculpture, handicrafts and musical performance.

The Retal Urban Development Company contributed with a diversified entertainment program, Nesaj Town Gets Creative, which included a group of inspiring events and initiatives.
Alturki Holding contributed with a variety of activities that included talks covering a number of intriguing topics, such as sports, entrepreneurship, technology, reading clubs and youth innovations.

Al Fozan Social Foundation participated in kicking off the Alsharqiya Gets Creative initiative by creating several events and activities carried out by Retal Urban Development and Ajdan Development Companies.
Culture And Arts Association Dammam
The Association provided a variety of activities, including theater and improvisational performances, in addition to opening an art exhibition and musical workshops for beginners, such as: Musical Creations in Playing Lute and Guitar, Socrates Cafe Al Sahel, Interactive Drawing Workshop, Interactive Guitar Playing, Saudi & American Photography Gallery, Digital Art Exhibition, and stand-up comedy.
Awan Real Estate Company
The #AlSharqiya_Gets_Creative initiative was published and activated by broadcasting videos of the initiative on the screens of Awan Gallery in Al Khobar and Dammam.
Al Fateh Sports Club
Children were invited to learn the basics of table tennis and tennis with the world's second and nineteenth seed, as well as the Kingdom's champions from Al-Fateh in an atmosphere full of fun and enjoyment.
