The consultant of Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture

Hani M. Al Huneidi is the consultant of Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture, former consultant for cultural heritage of the National Built Heritage Center at Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage and was a professor of architectural conservation at the “college of architecture and arts” at Patra University at Amman, Jordan. On the practical side, Dr. Al Huneidi served as planning and design officer at the United Nations, and also as a president of foundation of architecture and heritage at Jordan.

Dr. Al Huneidi has a PhD in Architectural Heritage from Politecnico di Torino in Italy, and post-doctoral of American Studies from New York University at New York City (USA). He participated at numerous architecture and cultural heritage conferences, and is working a consultant on cultural heritage development projects at Mediterranean, GCC and Central Asia regions. Dr. Al-Huneidi has published in both English and Arabic on topics related to architectural heritage, and middle-eastern studies, furthermore, he has organized different conferences on architectural heritage and mosque architecture
