This session highlights public speaking as a craft acquired through learning and practice, and explores how the strength of an argument and the power of eloquence work together to reach both the listener's mind and heart. It is led by Abdulaziz Al-Harthi, an engineer whose passion for the Arabic language led him to win the Fursan Al-Arab Award for oratory and to reach the quarter-finals of the World Championship of Public Speaking.
The session also covers the foundations of building a logically coherent argument, the role of voice, presence and storytelling in persuasion, and how to apply delivery skills in work and life situations where outcomes are decided by words. It helps participants build their confidence and their ability to influence those around them.
