Disclaimer: No camp on Sundays

What if you could design your own video game, and decide how it works?

Campers step into the role of game designers, creating interactive digital games set in virtual habitats and imagined environments. They explore how game worlds are built, how characters interact with systems, and how player choices affect what happens next.

Through hands-on experimentation, children bring every element of their game to life—from characters and environments to rules and challenges—unleashing creativity, sharpening problem-solving skills and gaining confidence as they learn to think like true game designers.

Educational goals:

• Understand the basic components of a game, including characters, environments, rules and goals.
• Recognize how digital systems respond to player actions and choices.
• Develop the skills to design and create a digital game.
