Paper, especially recycled paper, has a great importance in Japanese history. 
In this workshop, participants will learn about the old craft of manufacturing and recycling paper, as drawn from the resources available around us, as well as the different uses, recent and modern trends and various artistic applications of hand-made paper. Topics covered range from the main parts of the craft to the stages that paper go through before it is ready to go to market.
Participants will get to learn all the stages of paper manufacturing, from sustainable materials and recycling until we finally have our own papers to use.
