The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) is always keen on participating in the most notable regional and international fairs and exhibitions, as it announces its seventh time participating in the Riyadh International Book Fair,—regarded as one of the most highlighted cultural events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—taking place from September 29 to October 8, 2022.

Ithra’s pavilion at the fair will highlight on Ithra’s Library, its programs and publications ranging from books and different initiatives, to highlight its significance as a cultural hub for knowledge and literature. It contains more than 300,000 printed books in both English and Arabic, distributed over four floors and covering various genres, which makes it a unique model for cultural centers. Ithra’s Library is also one of the first integrated digital libraries in the Kingdom and one of the largest public libraries in the region.

Through its participation, Ithra seeks to highlight the Center’s role in empowering cultural talents through its pioneering program iRead, as well as the Ithraeyat e-magazine, a unique platform with a broad international outlook inspired by the Kingdom’s culture.

Ithra’s pavilion at the Riyadh International Book Fair also offers 25 distinguished publications of various topics ranging from art, culture, and literature, as well as introducing the E-Library which is available to the public who can access it by registering on Ithra’s website.
