Promoting Creativity: Ithra Participates as a Cultural Partner at the 2025 Misk Global Forum

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), a citizenship initiative by Aramco, participated as a Cultural Partner at the 2025 Misk Global Forum, held on November 19–20 at Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City “Misk” in Riyadh, themed “Created by Youth.” Ithra’s participation reflected the role of culture and creativity in shaping fresh momentum that the Kingdom, reaffirming Ithra commitment to investing in knowledge as a strategic pathway for sustainable development.
Talking about Ithra’s presence at the Forum, Mussab Alsaaran, Acting Director of Ithra, noted, “Our mission at Ithra is to enrich lives through cultural and creative engagement. Playing a key role in events like the Misk Global Forum deepens that impact, allowing us to stand with partners who share our belief in youth potential and to champion the ideas and creativity shaping Saudi Arabia’s future.”
During the forum, Hussain Hanbazazah, Vice President of Corporate Communications Operations & Corporate Citizenship at Aramco, represented both entities in a panel discussion titled “Engines of Creative Culture,” alongside Gregory Lavrov, Vice President at Warner Bros. Discovery. The session explored the relationship between culture, identity, and creativity, and highlighted the role of cultural institutions in transforming societal values into innovative potential that enriches the future of communities.
The forum also featured the participation of Noura Al Zamil, Manager of Programs at Ithra, in a panel discussion highlighting the role of creativity in shaping the future. She emphasized the importance of creating platforms that enable young people to tell their own stories and share their perspectives with the world.
The forum served as a leading international platform that brought together leaders, creatives, and changemakers from around the world, with more than 1,200 speakers representing over 130 countries. It offered a global meeting point celebrating dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and the vital role of youth in shaping the future.
