First Cut

The First Cut is a dedicated platform within the Saudi Film Festival for filmmakers with projects at different stages of development, production, or post-production. Access to the program is subject to review and approval by the Festival Management in accordance with the program’s objectives and selection criteria.

Selected participants are provided with a private space to present their projects to a panel of industry experts and professionals. The Festival Management will identify and invite experts whose expertise aligns with the specific needs and development stage of each project. Participants may also, subject to prior coordination and approval from the Festival Management, invite an expert or industry representative to attend the pitching session.
