The Edge

A director who loves using different methods to create new artistic images in filmmaking by focusing on acting and aesthetic visuals. Ahmed grew up in Jeddah, amidst its beautiful neighborhoods and streets adorned with artistic sculptures. In his childhood, he met many distinguished directors who greatly influenced his understanding of cinema and filmmaking. Ahmed started his career in media by working for content production companies as a photographer, where he got to know many production companies that helped him work in the field of cinematic advertising. After years of experience in advertising, director Ahmed Al-Quthmi decided to produce his first short film in his cinematic journey, directing The Edge in the city of Jeddah, which premiered at the Red Sea International Film Festival.
