Masakazu Kaneko

Japanese director and writer, born on January 24, 1978, in Tokyo. He graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University, where he studied international politics, economics, and communication, with a focus on Slavic and Russian art and culture. He directed his debut feature film, The Albino's Trees, in 2016, which was showcased at international festivals and received multiple awards. In 2021, he directed his second feature, Ring Wandering, which won the Golden Peacock Award for Best Film at the 52nd International Film Festival of India.
