Yousef Yahya is an architect and calligrapher. He began his passion for learning Arabic calligraphy during his in-depth study of architecture and design in university in 2013 when he found what he described as the missing link between architectural design and Arabic calligraphy. He began by learning the square Kufic font as the basic geometric lines. Then his passion for calligraphy led him to continue and learn more fonts such as Fatimid Kufi and Qayrawani - the urban Qur’anic calligraphy. He has also tried to utilize calligraphy in several fields such as architecture, interior design, jewelry.

He has participated as a calligrapher in exhibitions including: Athr Gallery, Tasami Charity Auction, and Shara Gallery.
