Turki Alqahtani is a media artist and filmmaker known for capturing Arab cultural motifs through bright, vibrant, and dynamic patterns. Often positioning himself as both artist and subject, he explores Arab visual culture using new media techniques and repetition. His artistic growth has been shaped by residencies and mentorships, including the Misk Art Institute and the Visual Arts Commission’s mentorship and guidance program.

 

Turki is currently part of the inaugural Emerging New Media Artists program at Diriyah Art Futures and serves as an artist-in-residence at Jax District. There, he continues to deepen his exploration of Arab cultural identity through innovative digital forms and experimental media.
