Shahad holds a BA in Architecture from Manchester School of Architecture and an MA in Architectural Management and Design from IE Business School in Madrid. Early in her career, she joined a prominent Spanish firm and was swiftly appointed Middle East Projects Manager, contributing to projects across Diriyah, Paris, Istanbul, Ankara, Madrid, and Malabo. In 2017, she founded Azaz Architects, building the firm on the pillars of excellence, proficiency, and creativity. Under her leadership, the firm has earned numerous prestigious awards. She also serves on the King Salman Charter for Architecture and Urbanism and the Riyadh Region Municipality Advisory Board, and has been a juror for the King Salman Charter Award.
