Sarah AlMaddah is a gifted and talented architect, artist and ceramicist who was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. Now 25, AlMaddah graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a bachelor’s in Architecture. Brutalism, organic forms and finding sustainable solutions for design problems are some of her many interests. Ceramics, however, is AlMaddah’s artistic niche. She excels in hand crafting and fabrication. Her ultimate goal is to own and run her very own design and fabrication lab and art studio.
