Rémi Homs contributes to curating exhibitions and advancing research on modern and contemporary art from the Arab world. Overseeing one of the region’s most diverse collections, his work reflects a commitment to decolonizing art histories and foregrounding the Arab world’s cultural plurality. His recent academic research examines the role of craft in shaping Arab modernism, with the aim of fostering a more inclusive and gender-balanced global narrative in art history.

He holds an M.A. in Critical and Curatorial Studies from Columbia University, an M.A. in Art History from Université Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a B.A. in Arabic Studies from the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales.
