A contemporary artist, born in Al-Baha in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1977. He obtained a master's degree in visual arts and is considered one of the prominent figures in the contemporary art landscape in Saudi Arabia. As a conceptual artist and teacher of visual arts, Alshashai influenced the new generation of Saudi talents, and contributed to the development of local artistic practices as a founding member of the Saudi Society for Plastic Arts and the Art Education Association.
