Nora Mayr

Nora Mayr is an independent curator working in Berlin. She completed her studies in Communication Science and Art History at the universities of Vienna and Utrecht in 2008. Nevertheless, Mayr was responsible for the International Studio Program of Künstlerhaus Bethanien Berlin for three years. She worked hard to share her passion and love for art through coordinating various exhibitions and festivals. Since 2012 she has been the co-director of the exhibition space insitu, Berlin. Additionally, she is a co-founder of the Project Space Festival Berlin. Mayr has worked in many exhibitions including 'Kann es Liebe sein' in Luxemburg, Vienna, and Berlin, as well as 'Open Lab: Irreversible Moment' at Schering Stiftung Berlin. As insitu she has exhibited at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, and Another Space, Copenhagen. She has also taken part in talks for Aarhus Art Weekend 2015; and has been invited as a panelist at events such as the Curatorial Marathon for Picture Berlin and the Grosses Treffen – Portfolio Review for Nordic Artists.
