Noha Hafez Shaker (Singer)
Noha Hafez Shaker is a soloist at the Egyptian Opera House. She studied at the Faculty of Music Education, then joined the Institute of Arab Music. She is a soloist for the Heritage Ensemble of Arab Music at the Egyptian Opera House. She has participated in concerts and in Arab music festivals held at the Egyptian Opera House.
Shaker was featured in the tribute to the late artist Shadia both in Bahrain and the Egyptian Opera House. She has also participated in tributes to Abdel Halim Hafez (the “Nightingale”) at the Egyptian Opera House.
Shaker has appeared in musical theater performances at the State Theater and Al-Tali'a Theater, including a performance of "Yassin" in 2010.
She also performed in many state and governmental celebrations at the Egyptian Opera House
Shaker’s own compositions include works such as "Betkalom," "Mother House," and "Al-Samahak." She also dedicated a song titled “Al-Watan” to the late artist Shadia; this was a key achievement of the Egyptian Opera House in that it presented a new work in memory of a departed artist featuring the words of Karim Abdel Rahman and music by Mohamed Rahim.
