Muhannad Shono was born in Riyadh in 1977. He is a visual artist who pursues a multidisciplinary practice rooted in storytelling and which has no limitations regarding medium or scale. He participated in the fourth and seventh editions of 21,39 Jeddah Arts  –  Safar (2017) and I Love You Urgently (2019). He was also included in the Diriyah Biennale (2021-22) and is Saudi Arabia's featured artist at the 2022 Venice Biennale.
